The time spent in the clay studio helped. Alas, when the surgeon
looked at the cyst yesterday, he cancelled the surgery. He said the
cyst had gotten much smaller than he expected, he wouldn't be able to
see all of the cyst and scar tissue to be able to effectively remove
all of it, and my response: I Want My Hair Back!
And so I will continue to wear hats to cover the bald spot. At least I
can now get my hair cut - something I would have liked to have done a
month ago but couldn't because the cyst was infected.
When, if, the cyst grows back, it gets removed. My bald spot? No one
knows. My hats.... gonna be wearing them for a while.
