I sent that duplicate post by mistake so please forgive me. I followed it
with a note to the moderator asking it to be deleted, but alas it was not.

I had only opened it up to snag the address, so I might post a real post,
and in some unknown snafu it was sent along without my intent.

Here is what I had intended to post:

Hello clayarters,
I have a question about my kiln. It is a manual with a sitter, and I have
added a controller/brain. In the kiln sitter there is a little plastic pus=
h
button that you push in to turn on the kiln, I believe it is called a
plunger, and when the kiln sitter flips open the plunger pops back out and
the kiln shuts off. That is what is supposed to happen.
In my case the little plunger will not catch when I push it in, so the kiln
will not turn on (unless I hold the plunger in with my finger). It did thi=
s
before a few years back, and I took the sucker apart and put it back
together, and voila! It worked again even though I did nothing but take it
apart and put it back together again, without consciously fixing anything.
So now it is doing that annoying little thing again. Before I take the
sitter apart again. is there something I should be looking for? is there a
spring that needs to be placed perfectly that I did right before by pure
dumb luck?
