I have emailed the service techs at L&L, but this being 4th of July weekend=
,
thought I would also post to clayart. I have an L&L JD2927 kiln that I need
to replace the thermocouples on. I already own 3 brand-new-in-the-package
thermocouples from Skutt. Both the Skutt and L&L kilns use 8 gauge
thermocouples covered in mullite sleeves. Anyone see a problem with this?
Thanks for any input!

Paula,

You'll be alright if they are both of the same type, most likely type
K.

Observe polarity.

As long as they are both of the same type, "K" I assume, you should be just
fine.
