Join us for an informative hands-on workshop which will concentrate on
the fundamentals of wheel-thrown pouring vessels and lidded forms.
Emphasis will be on fusing form and function as Brad demonstrates round,
square and oval forms using basic hand building techniques with slump
molds and templates. Forms will find new shapes through alteration and
manipulation. Participants will study pitchers, teapots, casseroles,
storage jars and pagoda forms. Through demonstration, class discussion,
slides and individual instruction participants will learn to improve the
subtle, yet necessary aspects of their work. Intermediate to advanced
ceramic experience is required for this class.

Workshop fee will include 25 lbs of clay and a bisque fire for work
produced in the workshop. Brad will be doing a separate soda firing at
his studio in The Plains, Virginia and interested participants can
contact him for more information on dates and costs. =3D20
