Hey Folks,=3D0A=3D0A The Maple syrup making went OK so I slacked off and co=
ntin=3D
ued working on making a third secondary stoke hole that will put the thin s=
=3D
ticks close to the top of the arch in hopes of getting the tail hotter. I p=

l three side stoke holes will be positioned so the fuel sets closer to the =

top of the arch and lands in the spaces between the 4 settings of shelves. =

I can easily cut some extra air/blow holes in the spine of the chamber if i=
=3D
t seems necessary but I don't recall needing them in my first successful ve=
=3D
rsion of this design when I got the tail closer to the front with side stok=
=3D
ing. There are other small holes elsewhere so I better just keep it going a=
=3D
nd finish what is started so far and think on that later. Of course any use=
=3D
ful speculations on how these ideas will work out would be welcome.=3D0A=3D=

aw I was gazing at a new Dragon Pot that was supposed to be bisque fired an=

e to "make it mine" but a couple of folks said leave it as is. Since it is =

I guess I'll take a risk and submit this for a crit to the rest of my fans =

and collectors, or detractors, lurking about. Great, awesome, and sucks won=

't be vary useful. Lots to think about with this piece. Is the imagery prov=
=3D
ocative? Would it be one of those ethical pots Bernard Leach was after of s=
=3D
ome other aesthetic? Can I, as an experienced Artist, call this finished an=
=3D
d command a gallery level price or should it be just be a study for things =
=3D
to come in the event the wood kiln needs to be abandoned? Heck, sometimes a=
=3D
study can become more valuable to an artists portfolio as a pivotal point.=
=3D
One interesting outcome of the accident is part of another persons large P=
=3D
orcelain plate became translucent. If I can get using Porcelain down better=
=3D
I'd like to see how
this imagery looks with light showing through somehow, solar LED's or some=
=3D
thing.=3DA0Or is light not necessary to create an effect?=3D0A=3D0A That's =
enough=3D
me for now, it's to nice out to stay inside and glum or glued to the scree=
=3D
n watching the suffering of others and wondering how I can lighten my load =

and pack up over half my crap and ship it to those who have lost everything=
