The wunnerful wife and I went to Seagrove, NC for a longish weekend to visi=
t our good friends Jeff Brown and Michelle Hastings. They gave us the town =
tour or work they thought we'd like- we must have hit 15-20 potteries. Spen=
t plenty of cabbage, saw lots of kilns.

It's wild that they have 2 wood kilns downtown that can be rented for a few=
hundred bucks. Everyone that we were introduced to was great- talking abou=
t work and giving us a tour of kilns/studios. I think that the Johnston and=
Gintithes studio, and the Dean and Martin studio were the 2 we liked the b=
est. That may have been because I really enjoyed the contrast between the w=
orks of the woman and man in each team- all did excellent work.

Anyway- if ya care to see some kilns, pots, etc- there's pics on my faceboo=
k page at http://tinyurl.com/6xsyu8y
