Hey Folks,

Somewhere along the way I acquired about 50lbs. of Amaco Indian Red Clay F=
lower #67 and wonder how it was used, how much heat it can handle before it=
becomes a glaze, and is it ugly as a glaze?

Oh ya, TIA and stay in there eh?

Hey Gary,
#67 matures at cone 05 if fired to stoneware temps it turns into a
glaze.

Hey you can use copper washers for that, they have a nice heft, are easy to=
=3D
grasp and can take a great patina. -Rimas=3D0A=3D0A--- On Sun, 4/17/11, ga=

Not bad for about 15g of clay and 3 minutes to make. Once years ago I could=

make 36 in an hour but I've gotten lazy over the years and repetitious pro=

s. I don't want to move that fast anymore so I guess I won't make a heck of=

a lot. Hell it's all I could do to throw three 3lb. bowls tonight and I wa=

nted to make lids for jars. Maybe I will need some larger bowls for the nex=
