sand or grog/handlotion

I am worried about that grog grinding down fingertips. Something odd =3D
there. What mesh grog are you using? =3D20

As to sand and grog. Paul Soldner preferred sand...as does humble I. =3D
It tends to be finer than grog, and unlike grog does not absorb =3D
moisture. Also--as Soldner demonstrated at the workshop where I met =3D
him--when you bend a "snake" of sand containing clay it sticks together =3D
better than a "snake" containing grog.

I have used ground firebrick in clay mixes...but unless one has a whole =3D
lot available, and it is clean, it is not that useful.

Last: We have had a wonderful display of brand-loyalty, as everyone has =3D
told us of a favorite handcream. As I live in the country, and do =3D
garden, generous souls have provided most with a goodly amount of =3D
Crabtree & Evelyn's "Gardeners Hand Therapy" .I love it and use it on =3D
face, hands, heels etc. The smell is nice, which matters. BUT it my =3D
firm opinion that any handcream will do as long as it is used =3D
consistently and regularly on clean, well washed, well-dried skin. =3D
Before C & E I consistently used Nivea, the variety that comes in a jar. =
=3D
Again. Works fine, if you use consistently, regularly, on clean, =3D
well-washed, well-dried skin.=3D20
