I would like to extend warm invitations from the Treasure Coast Clay
folks, specifically Jensen Beach.=3DA0=3DA0 A few of our members will be
signing some Lark Books at the convention, (Mia and JoEllen)

I
would love to meet anyone who might get the chance to stop by Zafka
Studios=3DA0 Friday or Saturday.

=3DA0=3DA0 But other great
things to see are the Homestead Fruit and Spice Gardens.

Another great
place to visit is the winter Edison Home in Ft. Meyers.

If you are a plant lover the Selby Gardens in Sarasota are wonderful. The
Dali museum in St Petersburg is a real treat. Butterfly world is worth a
visit.

Paul Gerhold mentioned the Selby Gardens in Sarasota. They are =3D
beautiful. I would also mention Ringling Museum http://www.ringling.org/ =
=3D
(as in John Ringling of Ringling Brothers fame), Ringling School of Art =3D
and Design http://www.ringling.edu/ . I was avoiding mentioning places =3D
in St. Pete because I am assuming that they might be part of NCECA, but =3D
I will anyway. Florida Craftsmen http://www.floridacraftsmen.net/ , =3D
state art group, St. Pete Museum http://www.fine-arts.org/ , one of my =3D
favorites. Of course the Dali Museum http://thedali.org/ , it has been =3D
rebuilt and is new. St. Pete Clay Company http://www.stpeteclay.com/ . =3D
Lakeland has my favorite museum, well it's tied with St. Pete Museum and =
=3D
the Naples Museum, is the Polk Museum of Art =3D
http://polkmuseumofart.org/ . Naples Museum is =3D
http://www.thephil.org/museum/museum.html

Of course this is not the Orlando area. This would take you St. Pete =3D
down the west coast of Florida, rather than east coast. Lakeland is more =
=3D
central Florida.=3D20

I graduated from the University of Florida so Gainesville is a great =3D
place, although that was along time ago. Micanopy is a nice town near =3D
Gainesville. They used it for the Michael Fox movie Doc Hollywood. The =3D
writer, Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings, house is near there.

I can't say anything about the west coast because I don't go over there =3D
much. Kennedy Space Center is NASA. =3D
