I use cleaner bags or a similar light weight plastic. I made a
sculpture of a mountain lion and worked on it for 3 months off and on.
Every couple of days I would check it with my finger nail, to see if I
could make a mark in the surface. If it was a little too dry to my
liking I would spray it with water and re cover it. No cracks ever.
