It is sad and terrible that someone used a grinder without wearing =3D
safety goggles, and blinded an eye.

What ails people? Work gloves are for sissies. (There goes a finger) =3D
Goggles are for cowards (oops, and eye) No REAL MAN unplugs a kiln =3D
before monkeying with the switches (Electric shocks test your mettle)

Industrial accidents are for real. They hurt and cripple. I just =3D
"graduated" from physio therapy after knee replacement. Several of my =3D
fellow patients were there for on the on accidents--a few of which could =
=3D
have been prevented...but not one of these people had been careless...

I wear a face mask and goggles when cleaning shelves...a piece of glaze =3D
embedded in my cheek is not what I need. And I do not use a =3D
grinder...but chip...and still wear goggles and mask.

I agree with Lili.
I had a professor in school who had a laze chip blind him in his eye. =3D
And he was using a chisel...that was more than 50 years ago that he did =3D
that.
Safety gear should be used whenever working with chisels or grinders.
