So, I'm sitting here thinking about our Clayart room, the NCECA conference,
where folks might gather, etc....

So I pick up the phone and call NCECA corporate offices.
First person I talk to has no idea what the Clayart discussion group is.
I'm looking at their web site and ask for Dori Nielsen, Conference Manager.
At least she's heard of Clayart.
I ask if there are any rooms available in the conference center for small
groups to gather - nope, all meeting rooms booked with events.
Ok, expected this, so I ask who's in charge of programming?
Steve Hilton, Program Manager.

So, for Seattle, 2012, would we want to propose some kind of program or
exhibition at the exhibition hall? Propose a series of workshops as we've
done in past Clayart rooms? I'm thinking out loud here folks, just stirring
up the pot to learn what folks think about this.

If we think this is a good idea, this would have to be submitted as a
written proposal to NCECA and be approved by their Board of Directors, so
it's not just asking for a room to use.

I'm certainly willing do my part and work with others on any ideas.

Bill
