Hi All, My students are asking me to show them how to make a replica
of a paper bag or
a gift bag. I had seen examples years ago but do not remember were to
start. Are there
any handbuilders out there who could advice me? Any help would be
greatly appreciated,

Hope you don't mind a non-teacher, and an infrequent handbuilder to pop up
with advice: first thing, have the model, a paper bag, in front of them.
They can see the size and shape of slabs that need to be prepared, and you
can discuss together about which edges need to be cut at an acute angle. ( =
I
would think all the vertical joins. Just off the top of my head...
