pay pal issues

Joyce...

Simply call your credit card company and dispute the charges. They
will immediately take it off your bill, then send you a form to fill
out detailing the problem. They then contact the seller (paypal in
your case), and unless the seller can prove that they completed their
side of the transaction, the charge is gone forever. I have done this
on several occasions. The burden of proof is on the seller, not on
you.

Good luck.

Hi Joyce,

You should be able to speak with them on the Telephone, using their contact
info in one of the sub-pages.

The few times I had any small problems, I called and spoke with them, and
they were patient, interested and helpful and we got the problem solved.

d "problems" with Pay Pal? I personally
have not until today but then I've scarcely used them prior to this
week.

No matter how I phrase my concerns in e-mail format, I get what I'm
increasingly thinking is the "run around." It's difficult to believe that
I truly cannot reach them by telephone nor receive a response to
an e-mail.

I'm truly becoming extremely irritated. The sum I'm speaking of
is $210.00 which Pay Pal billed my credit card. At the same time
they sent me a statement that I hadn't given any details about
shipment, nor had the sender indicated any details for delivery.
Is that usual? I thought that If the order wasn't completed by
either party that Pay Pal would not dash in and bill my credit
card. Is that expecting too much?

Obviously I'll not use Pay Pal again but I would like to either get
the merchandise or my refund. Any ideas?

Their responses to me are always cheery as they inform me that
they cannot reply to an e-mail from their cited location......... as, of
course, at the same time they ARE responding to me by e-mail
from the location I used based on other information I've received
from them prior to this week.

Joyce, (Off Topic)
I've been researching Irish pottery. Apparently, it is
very similar to the English and French pottery imported from those
places. My son and his girlfriend visited from Sacramento a couple
weeks ago. He gathered some boxes he had stored at various places of
our stuff when we were in Japan. One box was full of documents and
photos from my father's family. My father's father was born in Wolf
Creek Wisconsin (his father was from Ontario.) What was the real
surprise, that I saw on my grandfather's marriage certificate, was
that his mother, Annie Gilmore came directly to Wisconsin from
Scotland. It is particularly exciting, because I have been studying
the history of the Knights Templars and their possible escape to
Scotland (their cavalry may have helped Robert the Bruce defeat the
English and gain independence), and the Templars possible connection
to the creation of the freemasons.
