Hello again,

I am so impressed by the kindness and knowledge that the people on this
list are willing to extend/share both here and privately. I want to thank
all of you for making me feel welcome being new on this list and also at
ceramics.

Now to more excitement... I just finished sanding down the greenware piece
a tat, which created a fair amount of fine clay dust. After carefully
brushing it off, I discovered that it had completely filled up the tiny
cracks; they are really impossible to find anymore. I took more of the
dust and applied it in those general areas to further pack it up if it
wasn't already. Has anyone tried that before and did it work?

I will take it to my class next week to get it fired; if anyone would like
to know whether or not it worked, feel free to email me privately and I'll
let you know as soon as it comes out of the kiln :)
