Just a quick word from my inner Mother:

Please be careful when you use the Dremel. Wear safety glasses. My studio
helper and I had a very scary close call when the Dremel she was using to
grind a bit of glaze off the bottom of a planter shattered. The chuck
basically exploded and bits flew all over, as far as 15 feet. Luckily
neither of us got hit where it mattered.

Words from the inner mother, father, and anybody with a thread of common
sense: Drilling, grinding, hammering - machines that go fast working agains=
t
glass/glaze/fired clay - WEAR EYE PROTECTION!

I have 4 pairs of wrap around safety glasses at different places around my
studio. Whenever I get ready to do any of the above to any of the above, th=
e
safety glasses are within arms reach.

So easy to be careless - so easy to lose your sight...
