The following is an almost white (in my electric kiln) cone 6-8 clay body that
I use:

75 parts # 2161 Ball clay (obtained from the Kentucky-Tennesee Clay Co)
15 parts Custer Feldspar
10 parts Mollochite (Fine grog)

#2161 is a blend of ball clays. #2161 Analysis: SiO2 - 68.0, Al2O3 -
21.2, TiO2 - 1.0, Fe2O3 - 0.9, CaO - 0.2, MgO - 0.2, K2O - 1.4, Na2O
0.2 L.O.I. 6.9

I use the porcelain grog to maintain the whiteness of the body - this body
throws well and I also use it for slab work.

The K-T Clay Co, is located in Mayfield, Kentucky.
