Hi Margaret,

Nearly as I can tell, Max went out of business several years ago. The =3D
last contact info I had for them was:

Max Concepts, Inc.
157 Talamine Court
Colorado Springs, CO 80907
(719) 636-1544
maxcon@us.net

You may need a new controller printed circuit board which probably is no =
=3D
longer available, but first I would open up the pedal and see if =3D
anything has obviously become loose or disconnected. Unplug first of =3D
course.

Regards,

John

Assuming it's one of the "Boss" wheels, there should be a plug in the middl=
e of the cable going from the controller box to the motor... unplug it, fli=
p one end over, and plug it back together. The reversing plug is a standar=
d feature on the Boss wheels of at least the last six years.

I'm not lost, I'm "locationally challenged".

I worked for Marty Smanker in the last throws of the Max Wheel. Marty has=

since passed so there is no way to get info there. He had his pedals made=

in
C. Springs by independent electronics pros. I believe if you took it to a=

electronics repair shop, one that doesn't freak out when you explain what=

it
is, they could go through it and be able to tell you what is bad and repl=

it. Also, these motors have brushes that can wear out, located on opposin=

g
sides of the motor, under screw like caps on the side of the motor. Take
those out, (don't loose the springs!) and inspect them. Or take it to a s=

hop
and have them do it and replace them. The commuter that the brushes conta=

can be corroded too.

To reverse the Pacifica you turn the plug around that connects to the box=

the wheel
