Here we go. =3D20

Why is a cake with chocolate icing different from a chocolate cake"?
How are two sweaters worn over each other different from one thick =3D
sweater?

Why are two 120 lbs people sitting together on the settee different from =
=3D
one 240 lbs person sitting on SAME settee? NOT at same time!!!!!!!!!!

Because two is different from one. (Did I really say that?)
When you have cake and icing there is an interface--cake INTERFACE =3D
icing. When you wear a sweater and another over it the heat is trapped =3D
differently--or why one is told to dress in layers to keep warm in =3D
winter.

Even if the two people on the settee are intertwined in an embrace, they =
=3D
are two identifiable people. The 240 lbs person is one person, same =3D
person, through and through.

When you put two glazes over each other there are two basic interfaces.

Glaze#1, the one applied first, interfaces with the clay. Some of the =3D
clay melds with IT, some of IT melds with the clay. When Glaze #2 is =3D
applied to Glaze #1 some of G#1 melts/melds into it, and some of G#2 =3D
melds/melts into Glaze #1, but it is not that likely Glaze #2 with reach =
=3D
the clay.

As I am the middle child of three, I find this easy to appreciate!
