This 5-dayworkshop is for students who mix glazes and want to learn =3D20
how to create new ones with the characteristics they desire. Learn =3D20
about each glaze ingredient, its function in the glaze, which =3D20
ingredients can be substituted for others, how to alter recipes and =3D20
how to bring ^10 glazes down to ^6. You will perform hands-on mixing =3D20
and firing of line blends. Create stable glazes for dinnerware and =3D20
textural and matte glazes for sculpture. Plus learn to use computer =3D20
calculation software to design your own glaze with the characteristics =3D2=
0=3D
and color you desire, then mix and test fire it. This information =3D20
works for any firing temperature, but we will be test-firing at ^6 for =3D2=
0=3D
the workshop.
