i opened the kiln last night and had some interesting results.
i added a pix on my clayart website below.
i will post the recipe later.
i fired at a neutral atmosphere to take advantage of
the iron red. it was perfect.
without that blast of reduction the blue was much clearer.
the chinese temmoku project was crap. not a deep enough black over glaze.
that ash glaze cleared out too much...but, it has a great
future for inside bowls. man, did it run and get nice.
i know for sure, these will sell like `dogs at a baseball game`.
