I briefly spoke to Houston's on site liaison at the Texas Party at NCECA an=

was told that Houston has deferred to the city of Seattle for 2012 because
of a huge Photofest Conference that comes to Houston every two years.

Most of the galleries will be devoted to photography at that time
conflicting with the NCECA conference.
I was first told of the change on April 1st thinking it was an April Fools
joke. But I had this news confirmed by several other people who were not at
NCECA.
