We at community College made a visit to the new Temple University Arts Buil=
=3D
ding last week as part of our In-service day activities. It's just a couple=
=3D
of subway stops up Broad St.=3D20

The building is terrific. All the placements for each discipline had vented=
=3D
air. Some had an articulated arm=3DC2=3DA0to position=3DC2=3DA0a vacuum tu=
be where=3D
you are working. Some, like in photo had slits in the wall taking the air =
=3D
away on counter tops.=3D20

They were proud of the fact that=3DC2=3DA0they were the only business in th=
e na=3D
tion that had this machine that allowed them to design in 3-D=3DC2=3DA0and =
send=3D
it to the 'printer' which would=3DC2=3DA0fabricate a piece of jewelry in c=
olor=3D
s and interwoven like a necklace. =3DC2=3DA0All they had to do was dremel a=
way =3D
the support pins that held everything in place. It was all very impressive.=

=3DC2=3DA0I guess the color part is the newest thing or being able to print=
cha=3D
ins.=3D20

The clay rooms were very nice but I forgot to notice the names on the very =
=3D
large gas car kilns.=3DC2=3DA0 They had a huge pug machine that looked to b=
e 8 =3D
feet long.=3D20
