ot: paragon celebrates employee seniority

Last week we had an awards ceremony. The president handed
out 10-, 20-, and 30-year plaques. Then we had a catered
lunch of tacos and guacomole.

We have very low turnover at Paragon. 45% of the employees
have been here 10 years or longer; 20% have worked here 20
years or longer.

You can see pictures of the event here:

The company owner, John Hohenshelt Sr., came with his wife,
Joann. They are the parents of John Jr., company president.
We reminisced about the early days. Some of the nicest
people I know work here.

Sincerely,

Hi Howard,

It is wonderful to hear about a company like Paragon, where company loyalty
is as important as employee loyalts. I think this is becoming rare.
Congratulations to all of you.

All the best.

Howard,

I was thinking just exactly what Veena said. It is very rare to find a
company in this day and age where 1. The company celebrates the time an
employee has been there and 2. An employee likes a company enough to stay
there!

Hmmmm. Has Paragon considered opening a division in Kansas?

Cheers,

Beth in Kansas

Thanks, Beth. One of the employees said he was taking his
plaque home to show his friends. "Now I can prove that I've
been here for 20 years." None of them believed that he had
worked at the same job that long. Another employee looked
forward to surprising his wife with his 30 year plaque.
