=3DA0Hello,=3DA0I've been using recipes from the MC6 glaze book for a few y=

now (with great success!). I particularly like the 2 high calcium semi-mat=

te bases, and have used them with various colourants. I just received a cus=

tom order for some white mugs with laser decals on them. Because this is a =
=3D
rush order, I don't have a lot of time to test these glazes. I would only h=
=3D
ave time to squeeze in 1 test firing before i need to glaze fire the cups. =
=3D
Has anyone used either of these glazes with tin or zircopax? =3DA0Is one ba=

preferable over the other. I am going to test each base with 5% tin, and a=

lso with=3DA010% zircopax, but it would be great to hear any suggestions or=

omments anyone might have, to give me a better chance of success.thanks a p=

Hi Victoria,

Glossy Base 1 with 5% tin oxide gives a beautiful white satin matte I =3D
call White Satin. It has become by favorite liner glaze, but would do =3D
well in anyplace a white glaze is needed.

Regards,

John
