Hi,

I have been having back trouble and just found out have artritis in my back=
.
I want to raise my Shimpo Whisper on to cement blocks to throw standing. An=
y
advice on how high the wheel should be? I am also wondering if I don't need
some support still. I have thought of getting one of those stools with
moveable legs to lean on. I have also seen people use the wall.

Also, any tips on setting up work benches/shelves around the wheel?

HEY! Rimas! YA, go Hornets!

And about backs and IBUPROFIN: It can help immensely with some pretty
serious pain and as my hubby is a retired dentist, I have to say this....
TAKE LOTS AND LOTS OF WATER! It can cause SERIOUS damage if over used.

But what he used to tell people who had pain is that you can build up a loa=

in your blood for a couple of days and then cut back. These first few days
take whatever your bottle or doctor recommends as max, then the lower doses
will work after that. Don't keep using the max or your back might not have
other organs that are also pretty important.

And you say chiropracter, and they are good. I HAVE GONE FOR Years, but now
have found a couple of really astute massage people who can fix my back
better. They really have it down!

And when my neck went out from an intense summer of pottery, larger than
usual, a physical therapist proved to me that my neck is better than I
thought. SHE made it better than it had been since being hit by a car,
flying over the hood and onto my head when I was about ten! I always though=

I had a bad neck: She made me sleep on a more solid pillow like buckwheat
ones and boy, BIG IMPROVEMENT.

Made big pots possible.
