Hi, not sure which wax you are looking for and why you need it to apply dec=
als -are you applying these decals on raw glaze before firing? White glue m=
ight work for that. The old old wax (60's) was Ceramul made by 3M and then =
disappeared in the 80's. That's when there appeared a dozen or more substit=
utes, some of which are still on the market. The old Ceramul type has reapp=
eared in the last 10 years or so -it is creamy, ivory colored. Continental =
Clay carries it as well as AMACO. -Rimas

i'm applying it to either greenware on unglazed porcelain. glue does not
work.

If you still have the old jar, what does it say? In the old days a distribu=
tor like Trinity, AMACO, A.R.T. et al usually bought a 55 gal drum and put =
it in their own container and labeling as just wax-resist, some might have =
also included what it actually was (Ceramul). Who was your distributor? You=
might inquire with them what the old stuff was then email all the supplier=
s you can think of and ask if their current wax is the same... -Rimas
