Howdy folks, for a long time I have been doing spongeware pottery using
cobalt carb mixed ewith water and a "large pinch" of ball clay to keep it
from running. However, the cobalt still jumps off the pots and onto other
pots and the shelves in the kiln and even affects the next few firings. Is
there any other secret ingredient that anyone knows of that will keep that
blue corralled in and on its own pots? Other Barb in Bloomington where it
has been Seattle weather for close to 2 weeks now.
