I have been around ITC products for a long time now... I think I first
used it around 91-92. Besides spraying it one of my favorite ways to
use ITC 100 is to peel thin layers off of fiber blanket and dip them
into thinned down ITC. Use this to mold around corners, flue openings
etc. I have even used this technique to mend broken bricks in a
kiln... fill the void where the brick has broken with dampened bulk
fiber, and layer the ITC soaked fiber blanket layers ( 1/4" thick or
so ) over this, and work into the surrounding brick with your fingers.
I have some of these patches that have been fired to ^6, 3 times a
week for at least 8 years. Wonderful stuff.
