Janet,
I have used the M340 in the back shelf of my wood kiln. Cone 8 at 6pm. Jus=
t one piece for an 'experiment'. Had some Karen Starshine on it. Wasn't tha=
t interesting in the flashing dept. on the bare clay, but the glazed part w=
as beautiful and the clay held up well. Had another piece down on the floor=
where the sidestoking landed and it looked like a bad pit-firing job.
I love this clay, throws well, dries easy and has great strength. I'd say =
go for it!
