A question about the use of Advancer shelves in the Woodkiln. Do they get a=

ll covered with the melty ash and does it come off without the grinder? I =

like the idea of their lightness. I have a hard brick kiln so don't think t=
=3D
he shelf weight would speed up the cooling.
Thanks in 'advance'=3D2C

Claudia, =3D0A=3D0A The main drawback to using Advancers I came across when=
dec=3D
iding on some new shelves for the Hobagama is they don't like the heat shoc=

stoking cycle. After discussing the issues with the shelf sales lady we dec=

much less cost. So far setting the shelves in my design has not been any g=

the chamber and had all the leverage from my arms without also having to h=
