This began with the outbreak of SARS ... hospitals
realized they had to be pro-active to stop the casual contact
spread of disease.

It is actually proving effective ... even if only by keeping
patients, staff and visitors aware of surface contact and
the need to wash hands.

Duke University has proven that washing hands with soap
and water is the most effective way of prevention ... these
'cleaners' tend to just move the germs around.

Actually, It is proven that plain CLEAN water and motion (rubbing your

Hello all,

these hand cleansers are also useful to prevent the deadly intestinal
infection due to "Clostridium Difficile"

We not only fight the "porcine flu", but other infections.

Unless one has open lesions on one's Hands...the best of all precaution
against Viruses or other communicable diseases, (aside from avoiding having
your face sneezed on or being in a Commercial Airline Flight, ) is
merely to keep one's fingers out of one's Mouth, Nose, and Eyes and or any
of one's Mucous Membranes.

You can pretty well incidentally touch-handle anything then, and it's
mox-nix...

Far as that goes...
