Dear all,

The next gallery exhibition at the Leach Pottery is Slipware. This
exhibition will run from 16th October to 21st November 2009.

The English tradition of slipware, decorating functional and
decorative earthenware with liquid clay, was an important part of the
production of the Leach pottery in its earliest days. Our new
exhibition shows work from five potters who use the same materials
and techniques to make extraordinary contemporary pots.

The exhibition includes work by Jean-Nicholas Gerard, Clive Bowen,
Peter Smith, Dylan Bowen and Patia Davis.

We will also be having a kiln opening event on Saturday 31st October
between 12 noon and 2pm. This is an opportunity to buy the new Leach
tableware range direct from the kiln. Refreshments will be available.

Our winter opening hours start on 1st November when we will be open
from Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm.

We look forward to seeing you.
