I have that manual, too. Right in front of me.

Go to page 10. Show it to him. (Don't overlook the note at the bottom of
the table)

If your "electrician" says he needs more than that, fire him!

What's to Google? This ain't rocket science. There is no "wiring diagram"
needed.

If you're going to have your kiln plug into the wall, that's it. Page 10
is sufficient.
If "hard-wired" (no plug, no outlet), an electrician knows how to do that,
or ought to.

In either case, it's recommended (over and over on Clayart) that a shut-off
switch be installed, close, but not too close, to the kiln. The point
being, that if some sort of disaster occurs at the kiln, you can quickly
turn off the power---without being dangerously close to the disaster!

I'd suggest you purchase and read a basic wiring book, for example,
Sunset's "Complete Home Wiring." These sorts of books are
available at hardware and electrical stores and Home Depot, et al. It's a
shame to be needlessly fearful and in ignorance of something so basic and
essential to your clay work!

I have the manual for the Kilnmaster single phase cone 10 Skutt 1027
240 volts 48 amps, 11520 watts, 60 fuse breaker. It does not appear to
have a wiring diagram for hook up in it. The electrician looked through
the manual.

I would like to get a detailed wiring diagram for the kiln to give to
the electrician. Does anyone have a diagram of its proper wiring? I've
googled it and printed out a simple diagram for him, but I am not sure
that what I got is complete enough.

thanks for any help.
