Traffic Jams on Baysore Freeway...

Traffic Jams on 101...

Traffic Jams...

'bart', heck, take it to Oakland while yer at it...

Fillmore and Haight Street around, ohhhh, 2:00 A.M.

Mission District...Hunters Point...Tenderloin...anytime, but, late-night is
best (be sure to dress nice)

North Beach fake 'Beatnik' Coffeehouses where it is illegal to smoke a
Cigarette

Imported 'Crabs'

Imported 'Bed-Bugs' now too...

Oye

Actually...one really cool thing, if it's still there...uhhhhhhhh, off Army
Street...'Bethlehem Steel'...used to have several large Horizontal Steam
Engines, flywheels fourteen feet in diameter, was up-and-running before the
Earthquake I think...used to run 'em 24/7, far as I know...

Set onto deep Granite foundations, so the Axels were on ground
level...pumping out the BIG 'DC' Amps for those Electric Smelters...

Used to be you could just walk in and stand there all day if you liked,
watching those wonderful Engines running...the ground 'hummed'...had a
little
paint-chipped Guard Rail at waist high, was all...smelled
wonderful...'Ozone', and Hot Oil...

Love,

My daughter and her husband just arrived in the Bay City for a week's R & R
celebrating their anniversary. They love art and he is a sculptor. They liv=
e
in an Arts and Crafts bungalow in Fort Morgan, Colorado. What should they
not miss?
