Hay Folks,

One of my old girlfriends always liked my small bottles so I made a bunch =
to fill small spaces in the kiln. We all know trimming the bastards can be =
a pia unless we make a chuck so I finally got off my dead ass and made one =
I could use while it was still attached to the wheel head and dry enough to=
hold the pot...

... and then I cut the chuck loose and finished it off so's I can bisque fi=
re it in a camp fire next to the kiln...

Once I got a bunch of pots made I mixed up some slip glazes and applied th=
em to the bone dry pieces. It's gonna take me some more practice to get the=
feel back to where I left off and I'm kinda flying blind with what the gla=
zes looked like so I'm just mixing some Mather clear and 40/40/20 with diff=
erent Feldspars including old Cornwall, a couple different tree ashes, and =
some fern ash...

... along with accents of real Michigan Slip, something I found in the Haye=
s gravel pit that looks like decomposed iron rock, and other oxides. Loadin=
g has begun but this is enough for now so stay in there and don't let it fo=
ol ya eh!
