Reading the post regarding kiln firing...Mel states that the results of a
firing (at least one of the results) can depend on "poor stacking, with the
kiln shelves parallel." What does he mean by the kiln shelves being stacked
parallel? Thanks for an explanation. Dana Henson

Well, I am not Mel, but I think too much neat organization does not go well
with gas or wood firing. Or, for electric, for that matter. The air and heat
flow, which affects firing, can get in the way, if things are arranged too
neat. What looks good for us do not agree with the "fire god".
