Certainly no text directed at the studio potter/ceramic artist Mel. But the
information in the W. Carty/U. Senapati overview puts your stuff rather low
on the heat/work scale. They dock hard porcelain, semi vitreous whiteware,
vitreous tiles, sanitary ware and electrical insulators several cones above
your chosen field. (ref 5. F. H. Norton, Fine Ceramics, Technology and
Applications; pp. 1-19, 27-68, 78-95,)
There is certainly a big pond to swim in and more questions to answer than
answers to questions.
