I am offering another studio workshop on Saturday, October 25th from
10 to 5.
These are small workshops - limited to 5 people. We will start by
making cups from textured slabs, and students will learn how to use
templates, as well as how to alter them so they can use the
techniques to develop their own forms.
We will make a small platter with double-sided textured slabs and
puffed handles. After that I will fit as many other demos in as time
allows. My studio workshops are tailored to the desires of the class!
This is a bring-your-own-clay, take what you make with you,
workshop. Going out for lunch in my neighborhood has proven
problematic in the past, so I think this time, I will ask students to
bring food, and if the weather is nice we can go to a near-by park
for a picnic.
