potter's guide book

updated tue 2 dec 97

Lisa P Skeen on sat 29 nov 97

Several months ago there was an ad in CM and I received a flyer in the
mail about this great resource book they were printing for potters. If I
turned in my money by something like September 1 or 30, I forget which,
I'd get the book at the introductory price of $ 9.95USD.

Well, I sent my money, and the check's been cashed, but I've got NADA to
show for it. I got a post card saying that the book would be in my hot
little hands no LATER than 5 November. It is now 27 November, and still
no book.

Am I the only person who's sent in the $ and got NOTHING in return, or is
my mail lady slow? Or maybe I'm the only impatient one in the bunch?

Lisa, my =22hot little hands=22 are still empty too. I assume there has =
been some
=22slippage=22 in the printing/shipping schedule. Maybe we should get =
together and
do a little bitching to Pat Janeway, editor. Do you have an e-mail address?=
I
guess it's possible that since we're towards the end of the alphabet we'll =
get
our copy a little late, but I find it hard to imagine there was THAT much =
demand
- 22 days?

Glad to hear that Jonathan received his copy of Potters Guide.

Unfortunately, producing the premier issue of Potters Guide took much more time
than we anticipated. We are very sorry about the delay and the inconvenience.

All copies of Potters Guide were mailed from our printers by November 15;
therefore, most people who ordered this publication should have received it by
now. Unfortunately, some post offices take longer to deliver third class mail
than others.

If you have ordered Potters Guide and do not receive it by Monday, December 8,
please e-mail me at mmecklenborg@acers.org and I will have a replacement copy
sent to you immediately by first class mail.
