You can slow down the setting time of plaster by using cold water. It
will give you more working time. =20

A small % of sugar can retard the plaster mix also. Ckeck with your
supplier, they may have a commercial plaster=20

retarder.

Question: What's special about Pottery Plaster #1? It is expensive to

import here in South America, so I'm looking for ways to make my own

version ... until know I've been using regular construction plaster

(only occasionally the quick-setting kind).
