Russel and all,

You got it in one! Emily was in the "Oh I love this book so
much I will scribble all over it!" stage so our copy is fairly trashed,
but I will quote from the flap:

"Sarah Garland is married to a potter, David Garland. They and
their three children live in Gloucestershire."

I will add that we also found "Henry and Fowler", another children's
book by Sarah Garland, just because I really love her illustrations.
These are more whirlwind and bright, and the story memorable and
delicious although not about pots.

I am going to try to score one of those copies, Emily's 26th birthday
is just around the corner.
