applying chinese clear backing film decals

I'm wondering if anyone has a trick to firing the Chinese clear backing film
overglaze decals.
I tried Po from Chinese Clayart's recipe of 3% alcohal to water and they
curled off as they dried. A higher percentage of alcohal kept the decal on
but it burned out in a cone 018 firing. Pure alcohal disintegrates the
decal.
The recipe from the decal factory in Jingdezhen of 5 ml camphor oil, 4 oz.
alcohal
to one quart of water left some of the black lines of the decal fired on,
but burned
out the colored areas.
Anyone had success with these?
Thanks,
Donna

I have had success with using a mucilage called Itoya O'GLUE on the
back of the film.
the problem seems to be that the decal is not stuck down by the
alcohol treatment.
I never tried the camphor oil as this is the first I have heard of it.
