Do y'all mind NOT using blue as your text color (except to accent
something)? Maybe it's just me, but blue is much more difficult to read
than plain black text.

Thanks!

I generally don't do that but it's very easy for it to happen.
When you click Reply to an email that includes rich text Microsoft, for rea=
sonbs apparently known only to itself, changes your text color to blue by d=
efault. I _hate_ this, but I have no idea how to turn it off. It also puts =
a bar at the left side of the text that I also cannot turn off.

I normally change all of my emails to plain text and that gets rid of the w=
eird stuff, but surely there is some way to turn it off by default, isn't t=
here?

The sad thing is that I make my living as a programmer. I should understand=
this stuff. Yet somehow Microsoft seems intent on making me feel like an i=
diot. Just this weekend I wanted to send pictures of our new puppy to my fa=
mily. So that I could get the words and pictures to go together the way tha=
t I wanted, I thought that sending it as a Powerpoint slideshow would be ni=
ce. But recently I had installed MS Office 2007. I never did figure out how=
to type in a text box or how to resize a text box (both very simple in the=
previous version) and just canned the whole idea. I ended up not sending w=
ords to go with the pictures and just included the pictures as attachments =
to a standard email. That's user friendly software for you.

Hi Bruce,
I don't mind the blue in the reply text, I do know that is a function of
my email client and I can change that under Options in Thunderbird.
Thanks,
Lori L.

Gosh, I sound old and boring, don't I?
I do need new eyeglasses, maybe that's the problem....

Lois, just make sure it's not light blue!

Thanks,
Lori

You already got it before.

I am not sure how you did it, but you were blue about three days ago.
