i think he used the pete pinnell cranberry.
it sure is a great over glaze. i have a great deal
of success with it. (amazing what pete does for us all.)

a note:
smith sharpe fire brick company will be using
bill's chapter for the `book` on their website.
a definitive story/analysis of kiln shelves.

we have given them permission to use it, and they
will promote the book/give credit.

bill actually changed my working title and has come
up with this:

KILNS: "Design, Construction and Firing in the 21st Century"
i really like it.

it sort of says it all. move to the new century, avoid the
problems of kiln plans from 1939. work towards saving fuel, understanding
fuel, save time and money, not to mention our living spaces.
