Will that 4x4 slip work at ^6?

yes, fred....it is an addiction.
i have the same thing going on inside of me.


there is a fascination in white clay. we all have
to touch it now and then.

my stuff turned out just fine. it was a rather fun
project....more about glaze than clay.

i often slip the insides of bowls with the best
there is:

4X4 by measure china clay
feldspar, any ball clay, silica.
makes the best slip, and it fires white.
sort of sticks like iron to stoneware.

nice under reds.
so.
yes, it does get under my skin now and then.

Rod's Bod was one of the great throwing clays I have ever used. I'm
using Soldate 60 and Pete's Blend from a local ( Richmond, Ca.) clay
supplier. It was one of Pete Voulkos's recipes when he was throwing.
It's a light coffee colored clay & fires very light in a neutral
atmosphere. Mike Gordon
