Although I found Fred's language most objectionable, and I see no reason why
the Moderators need to be subjected to
such language any more than we do [!!!!] I think Fred's point well taken.

Some of us go to the Ramshead Pub for beer, some for gin, some for Pernot,
some for Ouzo, or Sake, or Merlot, or Bourbon.
We go there for the companionship of potters, and shop talk.

I may find my eyes glazing over when I read about critics day after day,
because I do not care. I find my eyes equally glazed by Floating Blue.
Except that I LEARNED something from the Garth Clark Debate, as I learned
from the last round
of Floating Blue that it depends on instability (As too many of us do!!!)
I've learned a lot of technical stuff over the years, and it is that I find
the most interesting on Clayart

I also have learned a lot about things I knew nothing of: restaurants in
Pittsburgh, how to make, fix, build a bunch of stuff, and other things I
would not go out of my way to look up.

Please: whether you order Shandies or Pousse Cafes (neither of which I will
go near!!) sit down, talk to us. We listen, even if we kvetch about it!
