Hi, Texas Clayarters,
I'm heading down your way this coming weekend for a family wedding,
and I'm looking for a list of likely clay spots in the Houston
area. We'll actually be a bit north/west of Houston, I think
(Brenham?), and who knows whether I'll get loose from the in-laws and
my kids, but just in case, I want to know what direction I should go.

Thanks for the collective clayart wisdom! (We were saying in the
clayart room that clayart, collectively, probably knows something
about just about everything!)

:-) Rachel in Odenton, MD
(trying to figure out just how much warmer Texas is gonna be than MD
in April...)

Rachel,

I am forwarding your clayart e-mail to the
Houston and Texas clay community message
boards.

Next week the Texas State's wildflowers
(bluebonnets) should be in full swing
around the Brenham, Washington County area!
Hwy 290 is my favorite freeway outside of
Houston.

I just got back from my first wood firing
in Weimar, Texas and am euphoric from Robby
Woods' instruction. Totally phenomenal.

I'll try to send you some links if you've
not begun your trip.
