it was/is just a fun idea.
no pressure...in fact, no pressure to bring pots.
but, we seem to have rooms big enough to add a few
tables.
i tip the help a bit, ask for some extra big tables...and
bingo.

from what i can gather, the omni was really heavily
booked by clayarters. it sure was full.

they were nice to work with. left us alone.
no hassle.

i am convinced that the extra pots in the room bring
a very good feeling, and understanding of some fine
potters.
it is always good to see work.
and trading, and selling with a few to friends adds
a touch of class.

no one had `sale` signs up...big price tags...just pots
out to see.
classy.
so, randolph scott theme it is.
you can go to his website and get images.
doug gray can do silk screens, then do a workshop
in the clayart room.
i think randolph scott had rickets too.
damn, we could use him in our battle to
get federal funding for we who have been scarred by
rickets.

i am already looking into the new hotel that joins the
conference center in phoenix. it is almost done...big tower.
no one has booked there yet. i really hope it is done...and
we can be the first to use it.

Vince,
I like Area 51 and rattlesnake moulting. Perhaps a whole herd??? of rattlesnakes moulting in Area 51. Also note they changed the name of Area 51 but I can't remember to what. The military says they don't know why they changed the name. Yes, I'm speaking truth on that. Kim H.

I spent a good bit of my childhood in Phoenix, (riding my bike
along the canals in those 115 degree summers) and I always
loved those feral camel stories - the 'Red Ghost' and such.
