Frank, I think it's a faboo idea, if you can get the show organizers to =
agree. Youtube is easy to use; I've posted one video there. Also I =
think any demos in the Clayart room would be good for videos.

Thanks
Lisa

I was thinking how we can use this new technology to our (Clayarters) =
advantage
.
The youtube site appears to be a natural to upload any video taken at =
the Pittsburgh NCECA. I'm thinking pics of the shows not necessary =
demos. Not sure about copyright law.

I think if we had a standard title listing format, that would make it =
easier to find stuff.

Perhaps the word CLAYART, and/or NCECA, '08 in the title would make it =
easy to find and to separate from past/future NCECA's.

I never posted to youtube so maybe someone with experience posting can =
agree or disagree with this format idea.

What do you all think?

If I was going to post a video from NCECA, I'd put NCECA in the title.
Then when you're uploading, you can choose to type in tags that will
make your video show up in searches. You could put in ceramics,
conference, pottery, throwing, etc. Or, you could make a Clayart Youtube
account and put them all there.

Lisa,
I was actually thinking along the lines of 'happenings' in the Clayart Room
and some scans of the the cups on display for starters. It's a new medium so
please explore. Kinda like seeing what we are missing by not being there.

Sorry y'all, I thought Frank had sent that to me privately or I would
have chopped off all that crap at the bottom.
